In addition to his work as legal advisor for the Federal Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (BPI), lawyer Dr. Axel Sander founded the commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main in 1974. Due to his decades-long presence in the healthcare sector, also as managing director of the BPI e.V. until 2002, he has strong contacts with EU, federal and state authorities.

 

Attorney Dr. Sander is the author of a comment* and numerous publications on pharmaceutical law as well as co-author of the GMP comment Oeser/Sander **. He was repeatedly invited as an expert before committees of the German Bundestag, is a member of committees of the pharmaceutical industry, among others on the board of the association for fair advertising of medicinal products Integritas e.V., supported by the pharmaceutical associations, on the advisory board of the pharmaceutical reinsurance association (until 2004), also in Supervisory bodies of pharmaceutical companies in Germany and Switzerland. There is a regular participation in committees of the BPI, among other things as vice chairman of the BPI legal committee.

 

Attorney Dr. Sander is a member of the advisory board of the magazines Pharmarecht, PharmInd and Arzneimittel & Recht.
